Planning The Wedding – Crucial Steps

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Sure, weddings are happy occasions and fun fill events. Usually. Ask anyone who ever planned a wedding ‘ hers or a client’s ‘ and she’ll probably be able to share some absolute horror stories of things that went wrong. Planning the wedding needn’t be rife with problems, though.

What is vital in planning any wedding is to allot a reasonable amount of time for the size of the festivities. In other words, if you want to hire a caterer who has his own reality TV show, and you want a gown designed by Vera Wang, plan on 12 ‘ 18 months at a minimum, not to mention you must plan for the exorbitant costs.

Any formal affair that entails hundreds of guests, designer gowns, destination travel plans, a celebrity style caterer, and additional custom touches, will take at least a year of virtual full time planning. For a smaller wedding of perhaps ‘family and friends’ ‘ under 50 people ‘ you’re still looking at two months, although a month (with lots of help) might be reasonable.

Buying Celtic Wedding Bands: Choosing Ring Material

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Once a couple decides on purchasing Celtic wedding bands, there are some important decisions to make. The material of the ring is the first thing to consider. There are many options for materials, here we will consider four popular choices. We will consider yellow gold. Next we will learn about white gold. Titanium as a material for wedding rings will be looked at. To finish, we will look at Tungsten Carbide. Since there is no right answer about which is best, buyers will want to acquaint themselves with many materials.

Yellow gold is traditional and is still preferred by many. The material itself adds to the rings value. It is easier to reshape than other alloys because of how soft it is. Yellow gold has been chosen by many couples, but it also has its drawbacks. Gold is more soft than other materials used in wedding bands. In time, the material can look dull, nicked-up and scratched. Some gold rings will lose their shape in time. People who are in contact with other hard materials or activity may find gold just isn’t right for them.
