Why Valet Parking Service Is Good For Business
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010Valet Parking Service, otherwise just known as valet, is a complementary service many hotels, restaurants, and other businesses of high standing have for their customers. It allows the customer to pull right up to the front door and not have the hassle of trying to find a parking spot for their car. They hand their keys over to a uniformed parking attendant who in return gives the owner a ticket to identify the car. The valet parks it and retrieves it when the customer is ready to leave.
This is a nice touch for a business owner to include. It implies a certain level of quality and a great degree of trust. If your customers take to this idea, it means they trust you and your employees. At times, especially if you are on your way up, it may take a bit of work to get your customers to allow their cars to be parked.
In rural areas, where this is almost unheard of, valet parking could be either a huge luxury or could make customers suspicious. However, if it is a service free of charge covered by the establishment, it could greatly boost the status of your business. It is not all just about appearance, though.
